Appearance: 89

“Very rustic in appearance. Medium brown, slightly uneven wrapper with mostly tight seems. Cap is very well applied.” –Dan (Danfish)

Aroma: 91

“Such a nice, soft hint of green grass and hay. There was no real overpowering aromas, but that also meant there was no harshness or bitterness either. Very smooth to the senses.” –Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

First Third

Flavor: 91
Strength: Medium
Body/Complexity: Medium

“The cigar opened with a very mild and smooth flavor profile. I am sitting here pondering whether or not I have had this cigar prior. Very similar taste and feel to the cigar. A nice, soft pine needle flavor takes center stage throughout the first third. The retrohale is very smooth and easy to handle. Right out of the gate, this cigar is providing a lot of smoke. Well done on the first third, very enjoyable.” –Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

“Wood, nuts and tobacco dominate the beginning of the cigar with a bit of bitterness/chemical harshness that I’m hoping will go away. Half an inch in, the cocoa I picked up on the pre-light draw joins, but this is only for a couple puffs. After an inch, the nuts have increased in flavor and most of the chemical is gone. The third ends with a sweeter nut, a bit like a cashew, and dry wood.” –Dan (Danfish)

Second Third

Flavor: 91
Strength: Medium
Body/Complexity: Medium

“The second third immediately picks up in flavor and strength. Almost a profile of full smoky campfire coupled with marshmallows fill my palate. The strength is definitely in your face at this point. The retrohale is still manageable and offers a nice finish to the overall strength. The cigar is burning very consistently and is still smoking like a freight train.” –Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

“Smoking a lot smoother than it started as more leather joins in, bringing a touch of creaminess with it. The pepper is joined by a taste of nutmeg, which toned down the gentle kick it was providing to almost non-existent.” –Ron (shuckins)

Flavor: 91
Strength: Medium
Body/Complexity: Medium-Full

“The burn was nice and even for the final third. The flavor changed from pepper and spice to a cinnamon flavor. I even started to get a nice cinnamon flavor on my lips. Unfortunately, the chemical flavor persisted through the final third, and even started to pick up right near the end.” –Craig (WyldKnyght)

“During the final third, the overall spice faded some but was still dominant. The cigar became even more creamy to help balance out the spice. Very good ending to the cigar.” –Wes (SosaCub4Life)

“This was a fantastic powerhouse cigar to compliment the after dinner appetite. I feel as though I have had this cigar before and I cannot wait to see if I was correct. I cut the cap about 4 hours prior to smoking to let the cigar breath a little and it smoked like a dream. Very strong cigar and definitely not for the faint at heart. Again, starts so smooth and grows throughout. Job well done. Buy these if you can.” –Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

“I enjoyed the cigar overall, especially when the second dimension showed up. If only a third had been there, this could have made it into the rotation.” –Ron (shuckins)

“This was a good cigar that would have rated much higher if not for the lingering chemical flavor that was present from start to finish. I’d like to try this cigar with a little more age on it and hope the chemical flavor subsides.” –Craig (WyldKnyght)

“Overall, this cigar had some pleasant flavors, but the chemical harshness that was almost always present stopped me from enjoying the experience as much as I hoped. The cigar very much tasted like a budget smoke. If this is a stick that can be picked up on an auction site for $3 or $4 bucks, it definitely had enough good to offer that it would be worth picking up a 5 pack and seeing what 9 months to a year in the humidor to hopefully age out the harshness would bring. Any more than that and I would pass.” –Dan (Danfish)

“Overall, I really liked this stick. It was very spicy which I like, and as the smoke went on, it became more creamy to mix in with the spice. Very well made cigar that smoked perfect.” –Wes (SosaCub4Life)
