"This is a very interesting cigar. It started out with some woody abrasiveness, but just a few draws in it transforms into a very complex maze. It has a astonishing combination of flavors. Definitely box worthy smoke. They did a great job." -Ryan H. (Ryan H.)

"Very nice. This has been a very good experience. No bitterness at the end. no sour after taste. A nice balance of flavors. There was a primary leathery flavor with a sweet cinnamon after taste. There was a light tingle on the lips at the end. It was a change to be able to enjoy such a balanced cigar all the way through to the end. The after taste was my highlight. A smooth taste that does not linger like bad breathe. This would be anice addition to the humidor and would pair well with a spiced rum." -Eric (smalls29)

Oliva was born in Cuba and was the grandson of Melanio Oliva, the first member of his family to grow tobacco. Oliva went from tobacco growing to tobacco brokering. He focused on leaf that many growers ignored, including libre de pie, the leaves that grow closest to the ground and are known as sand leaf.
"Overall I enjoyed this cigar. The blast of spice/pepper in the first third was a bit much but luckily it died down fairly quickly and developed into a consistent flavor profile. While this cigar by no means blew me away it was a solid performer. " -Zane G. (Zane)

·"I enjoyed the flavors of this stick, however the lack of complexity and changes made for a monotone experience. Go ahead and give it a try... it is good, but I would like something more arousing. " -John A. (John A.)
