Appearance/Aroma: 86

“Sloppy cap; mottled, faded brown, almost grayish in color; slight box press that’s hard on two sides, and remarkably spongy on two sides; the only thing that saves the score for this category is the aroma. Musty barnyard, with hints of sweet hay, and a touch of sweet cream and mild tobacco.” –Derek (lilninjabuddy)

“This is a fairly ugly cigar.  Very sloppy applied singly cap.  No large vanes on the wrapper, but has signs of mishandling sometime in its life with splotchy dark discoloration. Looks like it has some age on it. Visually looks to have an uneven fill.  Nothing notable about the pre-light aroma a little tobacco and hay.” –Jason (bigslowrock)

Construction/Burn/Draw: 87

“Very well constructed, spongy to the touch, draw and burn were great, but a little fast.” –Craig (WyldKnyght)

“Very easy draw of tea and hay, construction is solid but not firm with a soft spot near the foot.” –Ian (Sp@rky426)

First Third

Flavor: 89
Strength: medium
Body/Complexity: medium

“First real puff on the cigar is just acrid due to me quickly over heating this cigar GRRRRRR this loose draw. After letting it cool down and purging, nice woody cedar character with notes of spice (cinnamon and just a light touch of pepper) it teases some light floral notes.” –Jason (bigslowrock)

“Earth and leather overwhelm the air as I exhale, while wood and spice are very noticeable. Is there a charcoal briquette in here somewhere? Probably not, but some kingsford was picked up for a second or two.” –Ian (Sp@rky426)

Second Third

Flavor: 90
Strength: medium-mild
Body/Complexity: medium-light

“A taste of coffee with a splash of cedar has shown up. Barnyard flavor is lighter, but still there along with the nutmeg and cocoa taste.” –Ron (shuckins)

“As the second third begins, harshness is completely gone, and sweet cream remains, but tobacco flavor is weak, and the medicinal edge of the flavor is becoming more than an edge. Flavor reminds me almost exactly like a dolce de leche hard candy i used to find in the candy bowl at my old office, the flavor unfortunately as equally as saccharine sweet and equally as thin. As the final third approaches, the medicinal edge has grown strong, and the experience is becoming unpleasant.” –Derek (lilninjabuddy)

Final Third

Flavor: 90
Strength: medium-mild
Body/Complexity: medium

“Last third was definitely on the milder side. Chemical flavor was all gone. the burn continued to be perfect, and the creamy smoke continued throughout the cigar.” –Craig (WyldKnyght)

“Spicier at the finish with a little pepper joining in. Cocoa has faded leaving a coffee leather taste with a bit of cedar on the retrohale” –Ron (shuckins)

“While the cigar was not bad in any way, it didn’t fit my flavor profile and I would not go out of my way to find another. On the other hand I believe in trying everything twice.” –Ian (Sp@rky426)

“I really enjoyed this cigar, and would definitely smoke another one.” –Ron (shuckins)
