First Third

Flavor: 90
Strength: Mild-Medium
Body/Complexity: Light-Medium

“Sweet white pepper, must, leather and marshmallow cream start things off post light up, a flavor explosion. Half an inch in, distinct flavors of fresh cedar jump out into the fray. This is one very enjoyable mild profiled cigar thus far. ” – (Bostoneo)

“Starts out creamy with significant floral notes particularly on the finish. Continues in pretty much the same manner, lots of cream, very, very floral. Pleasant if not terribly eventful. ” – ()

Second Third

Flavor: 90
Strength: Medium
Body/Complexity: Light-Medium

Blind Cigar Review: Gran Habano | Blue In Green Churchill

Blind Cigar Review: | Churchill

“Still primarily getting lots of cream and super flowery, per-fumy floral. There’s some bright mineral notes developing around the mid point. Strength has picked up somewhat creeping just barely into medium. Have I mentioned that this thing is pretty floral? ” – ()

“The same flavor profile is presented that was found in the first third, but flavors are coming in a little more strongly now and are more pronounced. ” – (mdwest)

Final Third

Flavor: 92
Strength: Medium
Body/Complexity: Medium

“Finally getting a bit of a break here. As the final third develops there’s a transition from previous flavors and moving into a creamy caramel. There is a bit of sweetness accompanying this, and happily a lot of the floral notes have subsided. Which is good because I’m tired

of writing floral. Floral. Damn. Strength at the finish is also continuing to build, but remains within the medium range. Also getting another blast of metallic sharpness inside the band. I’d say the final third is the best part of this cigar for my taste. ” – ()

“Rich butterscotch, spicy earthiness and leather and Brazil nuts in the background roll in the final third. Towards the end, bread and toast notes take over from the rich butterscotch And carry me to the end. ” – (Bostoneo)

Overall Impressions

Draw: 92

“Draw was superb through the whole experience ” – ()

Burn: 91

“Great burn from start to finish. Very gentlemanly. ” – ()

Construction: 93

“Clearly well constructed. The pack was consistent, the cap was expertly applied, and overall performance was solid from beginning to end. ” – (mdwest)

Overall Strength: Medium
Overall Body/Complexity: Light-Medium
Experience Overall: 92

“The first and second third had tons of enjoyable flavor but it all fell apart in the last third.” – ()

“A great mild medium two hour smoke when you have the time to sit back and enjoy a near masterpiece. I wish there was a bit more transitions at the halfway point, however the first and last third really shined and kept my attention to its various rich flavors. I would probably put money down on a box with a great blend like this to see how it progresses over tome for sure!” – (Bostoneo)

“While pretty one dimensional for me, this was still a very nice, enjoyable cigar. It was easy to smoke and if priced right could easily become a regular in the rotation to have in the mornings with a cup of coffee. ” – (mdwest)

“Pretty much the opposite of what I look for in a cigar. Fairly mild, creamy with a nice and really pronounced floral nose. If that’s what your looking for in a cigar, then this is a good one. Well crafted with nice accessible flavors. ” – ()

“This was an amazing cigar from beginning to end. I was greeted with honey and some hay, and that was it…..I’m fine with that it stayed consistent and never increased in strength. This would make a great morning or last cigar of the night smoke. I would like to try it in a corona or robusto though. ” – (irratebass)
