"Really enjoyed this cigar. Fairly potent with a lot of sweetness. By the finale there were some rich coffee notes to go along with the world tour of sweets. I don't typically select belicosos as I find there is a tendency for the wrapper to unravel at inopportune moments, but this well crafted cigar never even hinted at such concerns. " -John I. ·"The most impressive portion of this cigar in terms of flavor came at the end, but combined with the top notch construction leads me to rate this a bit higher than I might. It burned really nicely for much longer than I usually nurse a cigar, and I'm a fool for a big ol perfecto. " -John I. (John I.)
"I enjoyed this cigar. It felt solid, looked solid, and tasted great. Floral and roasted flavors I felt ran the show but a little pepper and citrus were in there enough to keep you interested." -Jake P. (Jake P.)
"Other then the occasional cardboard taste that would pop in it was a great smoke. An interesting profile that had several profile changes kept me engaged till the end. I would smoke it again and hope that the paper flavor wasn't present." -Alan (Eulogy)

·Overall, this was an enjoyable cigar. Usually I don’t smoke milder sticks since they have a tendency to go sour halfway through, however this stick held its ground and provided ample amounts of body with enjoyable flavors! Definitely try out the Joya No. 1 before you count it out because of a Connecticut wrapper.

·"This was a cigar I would gladly smoke again. Every aspect of the cigar was really good, and it kept me interested the entire time. Bold smoke output, great burn, complex and yummy flavors. These are the characteristics anyone would want in a cigar." -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)
"This was a great cigar with a flavor profile that was excellent and kept me engaged throughout the smoking experience. I could easily see myself picking up a fiver of these and recommending this to others." -Alan (Eulogy)
"This was a well-performing cigar with a medium to full-bodied experience. This cigar smoked wonderfully construction and draw-wise, however, the variety of flavors exhibited in this cigar were a bit sparse and stuck mostly with the pretzel-like oak-like sweetness. Being fairly linear, this cigars profile will not distract from the medium and full-bodied cigar smokers as it provides plenty of flavor to keep you coming back for more." -John A. (Bostoneo)
"This was a good cigar with wonderful flavors and a personality. The taste started off on the medium strong side, went mild and then came back to a strong flavor. The black tea and cinnamon were wonderfully balanced and left a nice spicy taste on the tongue. The strength never got too strong to make me even think of putting it down. The tea and cinnamon remained consistent throughout the entire smoke. Definitely one for the humidor." -Eric (smalls29)
