“This is a cigar I would smoke any day of the week. It’s malty chocolate like sweetness really hit the spot. The giant plumes of smoke from the looser draw were quite enticing as well. The only thing I can hold against this one was that it had a very similar flavor profile throughout, however don’t let that stop you from trying one at all, especially if it is priced right!” –John A. (Bostoneo)
This year Plasencia Cigars will bring a new line to IPCPR: Alma del Fuego. They did not release any new lines at least years show after releasing two the year before that: Alma del Campo and Plasencia Cosecha 146. This is the third in their Alma Series, of which they say there will eventually be a total of 5 lines.
I think this is the best of the shotgun shell series. The profile changes throughout kept it super engaging and I was always trying to figure out the flavors that were coming through. The burn was very sharp, the smoke output was great but I would have liked a slightly chewier smoke, and how slow it burned was super impressive. Like a lot of Viaje exclusives they're hard to find but this one is certainly worth seeking out.

·"This was a fantastic cigar. There was a lot going on with it. It was very creamy with cedar notes along with a sugary sweetness that lingered on my lips and to top that off there was a yeast doughnut flavor on the retro! C'mon! Pick up a box now! I just know this would have paired wonderfully with a cup of coffee on a Sunday morning. " -Mickey T. (irratebass)
