Blind Cigar Review: La Aurora | 1985 Maduro Robusto

"Any cigar that does not become bitter near the end is a good one. The spices for most of the time were a nice blend of cinnamon and nutmeg with a great spice tingle. Towards the end the black licorice came in but was not over bearing. All in all this is one that will pair well with a single malt scotch. “Overall I really enjoyed this cigar. I really liked the overall spice from start to finish and then the hints of sweetness that would come and go. The smoke was very thick and creamy and coated my entire mouth. This cigar really pumped out a ton of smoke which was also impressive. "This cigar was very good at the beginning and very good at the end. Those two experiences were somewhat polar opposite of each other but tasty in their own ways. The middle of the cigar fell flat for me but again, not so unpleasant that I would never smoke it again. I’d love this cigar in a corona or Corona Gorda size.
