Rocky Patel Premium Cigars (RPPC) will debut the third line of cigars developed by Cuban master blender, Hamlet Paredes. It is called Liberation by Hamlet, and will be a single size figurado with a tapered head and shaggy foot. It’s meant as a testament to Hamlet’s talent as a cigar roller that is regularly displayed during his countless in-store events nationwide.
Ever since Daniel Marshall made his first humidor cack in 1982, his products have become synonymous with quality, luxury, and craftsmanship. In addition to desktop humidors Daniel Marshall also has an extensive line of other cigar accessories, as well as some very nice cigars made at the Plasencia factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. At the 2018 IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas they will introduce an array of new products. Here is a rundown of what we will see from Daniel Marshall this year.
Antigua Esteli Segovias will make their debut at the 2018 IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas. The cigars are Nicaraguan puros and made Robusto, Torpedo and Toro. A box pressed vitola will also be available. The brand launched about two years ago and have been gaining ground ever since. The Segovias feature Nicaraguan maduro and Habano oscuro wrappers, with top-priming binder and filler leaves.

Our blind reviews of the La Madrina and El Borracho from Dapper scored very well from our panelists. The latest cigar from Dapper will be unveiled at the 2018 IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas. The Siempre Sun Grown uses a lush Sumatran Oscuro wrapper complimented by a rich combination of other tobaccos, the Siempre Sun Grown cigar is made to provide a sophisticated smoking experience.
At the upcoming 2018 IPCPR trade show, Punch cigars will introduce a new line called Diablo. As the name suggests, it is an extremely bold and full-bodied cigar with strength and power. AJ Fernandez blended the cigar for Altadis U.S.A. with tobaccos from four different countries, all of which have aged 4-6 years. The cigars are rolled by hand at the AJ Fernandez factory in Nicaragua.
Joya de Nicaragua will expand their modern Joya cigar lineup at the upcoming 2018 IPCPR trade show. The new addition is called Joya Silver, and it will join Joya Red, Joya Black, and Joya Cabinetta in the line. It is the first box pressed entry in this line, and features a wrapper that Joya de Nicaragua classifies as an Oscuro upper-priming wrapper grown in Ecuador. It rounds out with a binder from Mexico and filler leaves from Nicaragua.
Southern Draw Cigars will launch 300 HANDS at the 2018 IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas. 300 HANDS is a story of collaboration told through a new line of premium cigars from Southern Draw. The result of approximately 300 steps and the hands producing nearly identical bundles of well aged and naturally fermented tobaccos that we know as premium cigars.
At the 2018 IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas, Foundation Cigar Company will release the Tabernacle Havana Seed CT #142. Nick Melillo shared the information on social media about this line extension for the Tabernacle. It will be available in four vitolas and prices will start at $9/cigar up to $13/cigar. It uses a very unique wrapper that is grown right in the Connecticut River Valley, along with a Mexican San Andres binder and filler leaves from Esteli, Jalapa, and the Jamastran region of Honduras.
