"Wow! This was a fantastic cigar! The cigar really didn't show its true colors until the second third, but that's fine. In the second third I got that wonderful creamy/buttery flavors. Then in the final third every other sip the cigar really surprised me with earthy tones (no spice) of wood then followed up with cream and butter. This is definitely a box purchase in my future. Would love to pair this with morning coffee as my first cigar of the day..... I'd go even further and say it could be my last cigar of the day too." -Mickey T. (irratebass)

·"I did enjoy this cigar, but I wish it had been a little more complex or had some more transitions. It wasn't as dry as some Connecticut cigars and I appreciated that, but it did get a little boring. If the price is right, I would consider picking up a five pack of these. For fans of milder and Connecticut cigars, I would recommend giving it a try." -Emmett (rhetorik)

"A decent looking stick, with great pre-light aromas, and lackluster construction and burn. The flavor profile was okay, middle of the road for me, I feel the lightly packed/rolled tobacco caused this stick to burn too quickly, causing off flavors from the high burn temp. I’d smoke it again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice as the flavor profile was pretty straight forward and didn’t have a level of complexity that I am typically accustomed with true premium cigars. While not the bottom of the barrel in the premium world, a noteworthy smoke that you should try!" -John A. (Bostoneo)
General Cigar has announced a new line in the Partagas brand: Añejo. The word anejo refers to the well-aged wrapper tobacco that defines its appearance and its taste. It is rolled at General Cigar Dominicana and ships to retailers on March 1.

·"This is a very enjoyable cigar, especially the first third. If time will turn the second and final thirds to be more like the first, this would be a world-class cigar. Even still, it was really good. I would definitely buy at least 5 of these. I would recommend this to anyone but a novice." -Emmett (BMP_Emmett)

·"Other than the strength becoming a little overpowering for me, I really like this cigar. The nice clean flavors, profile changes and wonderful construction make this a solid choice and I could easily see myself recommending this cigar to others." -Alan (Eulogy)

·"My vocabulary of superlatives are inadequate to do this justice. Easily one of the best, and most memorable cigars I've ever had. Complex, and really nicely nuanced. It doesn't really progress through "changes" like a lot of cigars, instead there are all kinds of things happening, all the time." -John I. (John I.)
"A great cigar for those that like coffee. Impeccable construction with a nice even burn and mellow smoke throughout the experience. The initial sweetness prepares the palate to accept the bitterness that coffee brings." -Jai P. (Jai)
"This one was a bit one dimensional for my liking, although the flavors presented were solid and well balanced. The glimpses of coffee and chocolate were encouraging but never developed enough to add to the profile. A good cigar for the golf course." -Gregg (McGreggor57)
"An earthy, slightly coffee flavored Maduro but very one-note. It became quite harsh likely due to the need to relight so many times. The construction and burn were very lacking. At a budget stick price, this would not be an awful choice but at a higher price point, the construction would make this an absolute no-buy for me." -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)
