'Juarez' is a followup to the 2014 cigar 'Jericho Hill'. That cigar was inspired by the Johnny Cash song 'Cocaine Blues'. This Thompson Cigar exclusive has a Mexican San Andres wrapper like the Jericho hill, but that is where the similarity ends. It uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. It will come in 20 count boxes in three vitolas: 4 3/4 x 52, 6 x 54, and 5 x 56 all parejo shape. The price ranges from $5.95-$7.95.
The original Mule Kick debuted back in 2012 as a limited extension to the Four Kicks line. It used a higher priming Habano wrapper and a slightly tweaked internal blend. Production was limited to 5,000 sticks. That original Mule Kick blend was be re-released in 2017, and then there were subsequent releases in 2018 and 2019 featuring Connecticut Habano maduro and Ecuador Sumatra wrappers respectively.
The Las Calaveras EL 2022 features as brand new wrapper to the line, Corojo '99 Oscuro. The rest of the blend uses a Nicaraguan binder and filler.
Crowned Heads has announced a new limited edition version of its Court Reserve XVIII line. This line extension is called the CHC Reserve XVIII Full Court Press LE 2019 and comes in one vitola, a 5 7/8″ x 52 box-pressed toro. The original Court Reserve XVIII line was released in 2018 and shown off at the IPCPR trade show.
In 2019, Crowned Heads will bring back the popular Belcosos Finos from 2018. The Le Carême Belicosos Finos LE 2018 was released February 2018 and was special in its vitola and limited production. Unlike the regular line which is trunk-pressed, the Belicoso Finos is a 5.5" x 52 round belicoso.
The first cigar ever released from Crowned Heads was the Four Kicks, back in 2011. Jon Huber turned to E.P. Carrillo to make the cigar, and this is where he turns again to make the latest in the line: Four Kicks Capa Especial.
The Crowned Heads Lawless Day is a day inspired by the 2013 movie "The Purge" where the company lets any retailer order the company's state-only exclusives. This years Lawless Day will be November 1, 2019. These state exclusives include: Tennessee Waltz (a Tennessee state exclusive), Yellow Rose (a Texas state exclusive), and Buckeye Land (an Ohio state exclusive).
