"I really enjoyed this cigar as a peppery cigar lover. The mix of the various pepper flavors and a sweet cedar and oak just blended perfectly on the palate. While not the most complex cigar the flavor was great and seemed to be perfect in this corona length. I will absolutely try to revisit the cigar in the future." -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)
"The blend's flavor was perfect for my palate. It began with a deep musk, then transitioned into a delicious smoky honey glaze flavor before returning to a slightly edgier musk at the end. The cigar smoked great, with only minor burn issues in the second half, and I enjoyed it so much that I smoked it down to the nub. I'm excited to discover what this blend is so I can purchase some." -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)
"For as rustic as the wrapper was the flavor profile was rather refined. The raw nuts and spice combo kept my interest for the whole time. This may not make it into my daily rotation but I could easily see many that will enjoy it. Grab one and try it for yourself and make your own decision. " -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)
"This was the loss of sweetness in the final third away from being my favorite thing I have smoked for BMP. Looks great, smokes great, and tastes great. I’d be interested in smoking this in a Robusto if available, because while I liked everything about the flavor experience - I’d have preferred a bit shorter smoking time. " -Bill C. (Bill)
"I feel like this cigar may have been a little young or ran into some issues during its aging. The opening has a strong sour flavor, and the finish is dry and chalky. It gave me classic signs of a young stick. While smokable, and I didn't have to put it down, the only flavor I could get between those two issues was a nice classic light earthy flavor. I'd like to try this stick again with six months to a year of age on it to see if that was the issue." -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)

·In 2019, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust introduced their first event-only cigar, the "Polpetta". By 2023, it was adapted into a regular production cigar. The Polpetta, rolled at the Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. factory, was well received by our panel for its earthy coffee notes, spice, dark chocolate, hint of leather and excellent draw. Constructed in a Rothschild vitola shape, it now sells for $7.30 each.
"A cigar clearly made with care and featuring a nice, if simplistic, flavor package and top-notch construction that let me focus on the smoking experience instead of fidgeting with my lighter or worrying about how frequently I should be puffing. I would pick more of these up for the right price." -Bill C. (Bill
"Great cigar from beginning to end. This cigar was full of flavor. Notes include tea, black pepper, popcorn, hickory, lavender, pork, and clove. I wanted the enjoyment to continue. Perfect draw, burn, and construction. Minor touch ups were needed, but didn't interfere with the pleasure. This cigar is one I'd share with my friends. I'll seek this out and add it to my humidor." -Sean F. (fullermaine)
"For a Connecticut shade cigar, this was fairly enjoyable. There weren't any flavor transitions to speak of but the salted nuts and butter worked well together. Very mild in strength but it would make a good morning cigar or a cigar to start your day with. Coffee might overpower the flavors in this but I can see it being enjoyed with a milder coffee or chai tea. It didn't wow me but my palate tends to enjoy the darker stronger cigars." -Kevin J. "I really enjoyed what this cigar offered. The complexity was there and kept me engaged throughout the entire session. Delicious notes of hazelnut, cedar, and red pepper worked in harmony, along with some orange zest to keep things interesting. Then you add in the parts with milk chocolate at the beginning and coffee towards the end, you're left with a fulfilling experience that I wouldn't mind revisiting in the near future. I will be interested in smoking this again, once I find out what it is that I smoked. " -Doug S. (Unpossible_1)
