In 1968 General Cigar Company purchased the Temple Hall Cigar Factory in Kingston, Jamaica. Along with this factory, the company acquired the Macanudo brand, a small cigar brand made just for the British market. Since then, it has taken off into one of the oldest and most smoked brands in the world.
General Cigar has a new Macanudo cigar coming out next month, and it's a new addition to their Inspirado line. The name for Macanudo Inspirado Tercio Aged comes from the technique of tercio aging.

"Overall, this was an excellent cigar. The flavors were excellent, and the texture of the smoke was perfect. The draw could have been a little better, but still very good. All in all, I would most definitely smoke this cigar again, and I’m curious to see what it turns out to be." -Angel M. (Angel)
