Michael Herklots, former Vice President of Nat Sherman, is teaming up with Brendon Scott, former Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Nat Sherman, to launch a new company Ferio Tego, LLC. This new company has prurchased the brands from Altria the owner of the Nat Sherman brand and will bring back the brands of the now defunct Nat Sherman company to market. The lines will no longer have the Nat Sherman name, they will simply be called Timeless, Metropolitan, Epoca, Host, etc.

Ferio Tego, LLC officially formed over a year ago now. Last fall they brought back the Timeless Collection from the Nat Sherman archives and successfully launched their flagship Ferio Tego limited edition cigars Generoso and Elegancia, the former of which made #9 on our Top 25 cigars list and scored a 91 in blind tasting. Now the company is bringing back the legacy Nat Sherman Metropolitan Selection brand. The new cigars will start shipping this week.
New York City cigar institution Nat Sherman International Inc. will be adding a Super Lancero size to three of its existing brands. These limited smokes are made in the Dominican Republic at the Quesada Factory (formerly MATASA) and will be available in the Sterling, 1930 Selection and Timeless Collection brands. The cigars measure 8 inches by 38 ring, half an inch longer than the classic Cuban Laguito No. 1.

Michael Herklots' Ferio Tego brand is set to bring back the first of the old Nat Sherman brands to the market starting with Timeless. The first two Timeless cigars to see market are Prestige and Sterling, both are available for order immediately for retailers. Both lines are rolled in the Dominican Republic by Quesada Cigars. This announcement follows on the heels of last months news that the company would be releasing their first new blend and limited edition in October.
"I feel like the flavor of this cigar might have been a construction or quality issue. By a couple of inches in the flavor was like I was licking a metal bar and heavy tar flavors mixed in making it pretty much unsmokable. I tried to fight through it but I believe something was just not quite right here. I would be interested in trying it again to see if I just ended up unlucky or if it is the cigar blend itself." -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)
RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Altria Group, Inc. (Altria) (NYSE:MO) today announced that it has acquired the privately-held Sherman Group Holdings, LLC and its subsidiaries (Nat Sherman). Nat Sherman sells super-premium cigarettes and premium cigars, and joins Philip Morris USA Inc. and John Middleton Co. as part of Altria’s smokeable products segment. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Ferio Tego is gradually rolling out the legacy Nat Sherman brands, and now the latest to make it back on the market are the Timeless Panamericana and Timeless Supreme. These releases follow the release of the Timeless Sterling and Prestige in September 2021, and the brand new Generoso and Elegancia lines last month. These latest additions will land in stores November 18, 2021.
The long discontinued Epoca brand has been resurrected by Nat Sherman and is scheduled for a late spring release with a new blend and new identity. The original Epoca was a clear Havana cigar, meaning it was produced in the United States before the embargo and used imported Cuban leaf.
