Cigar News – Crowned Heads Brings Back Le Carême Belicosos Finos

Crowned Heads is bringing back their limited edition version of the Le Carême blend this year. Originally released in 2018, and making a limited edition comeback in 2021, the cigar is now back in its same 5 1/2″ x 52 format. While the regular production line of Le Carême is trunk-pressed, the Belicosos Finos are round.

“Despite the fact that we were completely out of stock on all Le Carême cigars in 2020 due to a shortage on Connecticut Broadleaf (wrapper) tobacco, we still continue to receive weekly inquiries on the Le Carême line. We’re extremely excited to be bringing back not only the Belicosos Finos, but the Le Carême brand as well, into the retail spotlight.”

Crowned Heads co-founder, Jon Huber

The blend uses a Grade A Dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. Only 1,000 12-count boxes will be produced this year for a grand total of 12,000 cigars. Le
Carême Belicosos Finos LE 2021 sells for $11.00 per cigar, and $132.00 per box. The are rolled at Tabacalera La Alianza, S.A., Santiago, Dominican Republic, under the supervision of Ernesto Perez Carrillo.
