Blind Cigar Review: HVC | First Selection Limited Edition 2018 Broadleaf Short Robusto

“I really enjoyed this cigar. It had just enough transitions to keep me interested and just kept getting better as I went along. There was a lot of creamy coco, brown sugar, leather, hay, and woodiness notes that all worked together in a really nice way. I would suggest trying one for yourself. ” -Jeff (ExpendableYouth)

Blind Cigar Review: La Aurora | Preferidos Diamond Broadleaf Toro

“Overall this was a solid performing smoke. A bit full bodied and strong for sure, make sure you have something in your stomach before smoking this bad boy, it will hit you going into the second half. Flavors were spot on for a full bodied smoke and diverse enough to make it interesting. Try one out, may be your next full bodied goto!” -John A. (Bostoneo)

Quick Cigar Review: Dunbarton T&T | Muestra de Saka Unicorn

While the Diademas size was amazing I always find them a struggle with construction, burn, etc. This cigar from a construction point of view was on point. The burn was great, and the cigar smoked perfectly. Would I spend $100 on this cigar if it was regular production? Of course not. Definitely a treat to smoke and I was happy to get the chance. I give this a score of 93.

Blind Cigar Review: Home Roll | Mischievous Marshmallow

“Off the bat I enjoyed the sweetness and pepper flavors. The way they played off each other was enjoyable. I also enjoyed how the sweetness was like a glaze on my lips. While smoking the cigar, looking at the cigar, it was ok and was not wowed by how the cigar looked. I had to touch up the cigar and had to relight it twice throughout the smoke. As much as enjoyed the flavors in the first two thirds, the last third wrecked the experience for me. The way the cigar was constructed it burned my tongue and all the flavor were bitter. It left my mouth feeling like I smoked five cigars back to back.” -Daniel S. (Daniel S.)

Blind Cigar Review: Foundation | The Tabernacle Toro

“It’s been a while since I had a cigar that I felt was truly extraordinary, and that dry spell has been broken! This cigar is firmly in my wheelhouse in all areas. The flavors were deep and meaty, the performance excellent, and the strength was just enough to pair with any meal or beverage that I’d want to enjoy it with. This probably isn’t something I’d push off on a new smoker, but really…I liked it so much that I’d be hard pressed to share it with anyone. Can’t wait for the reveal on this!” -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

Blind Cigar Review: Quesada | Reserva Privada Oscuro Robusto

“This is a cigar I would happily smoke again while I was doing something different to occupy my time such as shooting skeet or at the golf driving range. The profile peaked in the second third but then fell off with the mineral flavors in the final third. I put the cigar down with a little less than 2 inches as I felt the profile wasn’t going to change. Smoke output was plentiful and stormed off the foot. I feel this cigar might improve with age and is worthy of a redux.” -Matt C. (Big Matt)
