Blind Cigar Review: Davidoff | Robusto Real Especiales 7

“In terms of transitions or flavor profile changes this cigar really didn’t have any. That’s not to say it wasn’t an enjoyable smoke though. The core flavors of pepper, cedar, sweetness, leather, and espresso worked really well together. I couldn’t say that this cigar wowed me but it was a really nice cigar with just enough going on to keep my interest. Depending on price I would say you should definitely give this cigar a try. ” -Jeff (ExpendableYouth)

Blind Cigar Review: Warped | A Dragon’s Wish

“This cigar was good, but not great. It’s one of those cigars that stay consistent. If I wasn’t reviewing it I may have enjoyed it more. This is the kind of cigar that you can smoke and not pay attention to like if you smoke this while watching a show or reading. The cigar had some really nice flavors to me. I was greeted with tea, coffee, wood, chocolate and nuts throughout the smoke, so definitely not one-dimensional. ” -Mickey T. (irratebass)

“I find myself enjoying this more while reflecting back on it. The flavor profile was a very traditional style Nicaraguan with tobacco, cedar, leather, and pepper but it all worked very well when taken as a whole. The retrohale provided a bit of a break from the draw and even though the draw was a bit tight it was a good cigar for what it was. It’s not a game changing cigar but it’s a solid smoke and certainly worth your time. ” -Alan (Eulogy)

“This was probably one of my most favorite reviews that I have done. I was dreading initially smoking this cigar only because of the vitola and amount of time I knew was required. However, as soon as the first third started and the flavor profile showed itself, I was hooked. Between the good balance of earth and barnyard, to the coffee and creamy finish, this cigar had an overall complexity that was second to none. You will need to block off a solid amount of time, but by no means will you be disappointed. This cigar will go well with coffee, libations, or a Pepsi. Enjoy these as much as possible.” -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

“If I were to make my own cigar, it would look much like this. It was almost painful to put this cigar down. The savory qualities kept me coming back to it, distracting me from other things (like the kiddo crying about her ball rolling into the street.) It wouldn’t be hard to put this cigar into regular rotation, and when this is posted, I’ll probably find a box. While there wasn’t a whole lot of transition in flavors, what flavors it has keeps you coming back for more.” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

Blind Cigar Review: Dunbarton T&T | Sobremesa Elegante en Cedro

“All around a great cigar. The flavor profile could have had a bit more of an evolution, but the core flavors were quite enjoyable though out and the retrohale provided a nice change from the standard draw. The creaminess of the smoke could have been a little more consistent as parts of the cigar produced thick creamy clouds but a lot of the time it was a little but thin. Overall a very good cigar that I would definitely smoke again. ” -Alan (Eulogy)

“This was a very full bodied cigar. I know that I am more sensitive to nicotine and pepper than most, but it wasn’t overpowering or unpleasant for me. If I hadn’t just eaten before I’m not sure if my opinion would be the same. The flavors were rich but didn’t have a real evolution throughout. If you’re a fan of rich full bodied cigars this is a great choice, but I would need to be prepared to smoke something this powerful again. ” -Alan (Eulogy)

“Man, this was a fun cigar. I have to blame myself for the performance at the beginning, even if it did feel and look ok. Once I gave it the deeper cut, this cigar was awesome. The savory flavors kept me attached the whole way through. There was a lot more complexity in the first third that seemed to tone down through the rest of the cigar; I really wish it just kept going. ” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

“Overall a very pleasant stick. Once it started mellowing out a little bit the cigar became a very nice smoke. This is one I’ll be looking at more closely after the reveal, and would consider a box purchase on if the price is right. ” -Dave W. (mdwest)
