Blind Cigar Review: Emilio | LJZ Robusto Score 88%

Blind Cigar Review: Emilio | LJZ Robusto

“This cigar was mediocre in my opinion. There was not much complexity. Smooth notes of spice and hay were the cornerstones, but the char crept in and took over through the second and final third of the cigar. A little age might do this cigar some good, so do not give up entirely on this stick. It might grow into something very good.” -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

“This was a thoroughly enjoyable stick with its strong points being the first two thirds. Whoever blended this cigar meant to create something special with a very flavorful mix of tobaccos that pleased my pallete immensely. I can only hope the price point on this stick is reasonable so I can stock up!” -John A. (John A.)

Blind Cigar Review: Dunbarton T&T | Todos Las Dias Half Churchill

“This cigar was great in my opinion. A well-built cigar that was very easy to work with. Simple cut, light, and smoke made this cigar very nice. The flavor profile was delicious. There was not a lot of complexity, but the overall smoke and aroma was absolutely pleasant. If I could make one suggestion, I would say to pre-cut the cigar and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. This will allow an ample amount of rest time and will get the remainder of the harshness out of it, so that it will burn and taste great all the way through. Enjoy these, they are worth the buy.” -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

“This cigar started very mild and while I was hoping for some change, it remained mild and pretty flavorless throughout. While the cigar’s appearance, draw, and construction is very good overall, it lacked in flavor and depth. I do not think I would recommend this cigar.” -David F. (David F.)

“Wow… whatever this is I want more for my collection. This is one of those mild smokes that you just have to have for a nice relaxing session where you can kick back and relax while you enjoy the experience. More complex than most mild cigars, it had a great flavor profile from each third to another and it never got bitter at the end like some lighter smokes get. Two thumbs up.” -John A. (John A.)

“This was such an enjoyable cigar. It was not a powerhouse, and it was not overly complex, but it was flavorful all the way. I enjoyed each puff, and the sweet/spice mix was really a nice combo at the end of the day. It also looked beautiful, and had no performance issues, so no extra work on the part of the smoker in order to enjoy the cigar. This one would have a place in my humidor. ” -Matthew T.
