“Despite my reporting that the flavors were one dimensional, I am not beating up on the cigar. There is nothing wrong with a cigar being one dimensional. Sometimes you just want to smoke and not have to think about it. They are made for relaxation anyway right? I would definitely smoke this cigar again to compare notes.” -Mickey T. (irratebass)

Every year we put together a list of our Top 25 Cigars of the Year. Our list is a bit different from some other lists, it is not simply a rehashing of our top scores from the year, or one person’s opinion. We gave each of our panelists 10 votes to cast how they please for what they enjoyed the most in 2019. The order of their votes matter, so their #1 pick is worth twice as much as #10. The cigars do not have to have been reviewed by Blind Man’s Puff, but the panelist must have smoked it.

The relights kinda hurt this one for me. I think I had to touch up once and outright relight it four times which was weird because it would just go out the moment after I took a draw. The flavors were very unique and I can’t recall the last time I had a cigar with this upfront level of cinnamon in the profile but my tongue feels like its been rubbed raw from the experience. It sounds a bit harsh but in actuality this is a fantastic cigar as far as the flavors and smoke output is concerned.

“This cigar was good, but not great. It’s one of those cigars that stay consistent. If I wasn’t reviewing it I may have enjoyed it more. This is the kind of cigar that you can smoke and not pay attention to like if you smoke this while watching a show or reading. The cigar had some really nice flavors to me. I was greeted with tea, coffee, wood, chocolate and nuts throughout the smoke, so definitely not one-dimensional. ” -Mickey T. (irratebass)

I really enjoyed this cigar from start to finish. It’s hard to describe just how well all of the elements of this cigar worked together to provide such an enjoyable experience but every bit of this cigar just worked for me. I am normally not a fan of really strong cigars but this one just did it for me. I picked up a five pack of these just based on the Warped name alone and really wish I had bought the whole box. If you can get your hands on one I would say go for it.

“Very solid cigar across the board. It won’t change your life or make you feel as if you’d been touched by the hand of God, but it is a well constructed and tasty smoke. It doesn’t require much effort to tease out and identify exotic flavors, or significant transitions, but what is there is very up front, and enjoyable. ” -John I. (John I.)
