Blind Cigar Review: Gran Habano | S.T.K. Black Dahlia Robusto

“This was a great smoking cigar. The variance and complexity of flavors offered were amazingly tasty and made it hard to not just want to hotbox this thing because it was THAT good. That being said, I’ll defiantly recommend this cigar to any smoker as it is a mild to medium stick with uddles of semi sweet flavors. I need a box… stat. ” –John A. (Bostoneo)

Quick Cigar Review: Foundation | Menelik

Draw, burn, and construction were spot on and should be a mile marker what the quality of how a cigar should be rolled and constructed. The flavor profiles of chocolate, coffee, and leather appeared to be the dominate flavor profiles throughout the cigar which provided a nice relaxing experience. While I did not pair it with anything, a mocha latte or hot chocolate would pair wonderfully with this cigar as they would compliment each other immensely. Complexity was not in full force, however the profile was enjoyable enough to keep me happy throughout the duration of the session. Definitely something you should pick up if ever given the chance to attend a Foundation event!

Blind Cigar Review: Serino | Wayfarer Corona Gorda

“This was a really nice cigar from start to finish. Normally I’m the guy who wants the full strength and full bodied cigar that smacks me full in the face. On occasion, however, I find a cigar that reminds me of the lighter side of things and just how enjoyable that can be… This was one of those cigars. A nice mix of flavor coupled with superb construction really made my day… It definitely is getting my stamp of approval.” -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

Blind Cigar Review: La Aurora | 1962 Corojo Robusto

“Even though the final third was bitter and poor tasting, overall it was a good cigar. Not much in the way of flavors other than a nice woody taste and a wonderful campfire smell. The beginning had some nice spicy notes and a wonderful peppery tingle on the lips, but that did not last too long. In the end his would pair nicely with a good whiskey or even a string espresso.” -Eric (smalls29)
