Blind Cigar Review: Villiger | La Flor De Ynclan Robusto

“Over all, a pleasant smoke with a good spice that hit the roof of your mouth and back of the throat, a good solid dark grey ash, plenty of smoke, very enjoyable after a day of dealing with sub zero temperatures and frozen pipes, it was warming indeed. Overall, a fine experience to cap off the day.” -Joseph S. (Bearded Bastard)

Blind Cigar Review: CAO | Flathead V19 Camshaft

“This was a good cigar but it was pretty one dimensional. For the full bodied fan, this is a decent pick, but for the Smoker who likes them mild this might be a turn off. I’d smoke another one but won’t run out to pick up a box. ” -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

Quick Cigar Review: Don Lino Africa | Robusto

While I have never smoked the original Don Lino I have seen them in catalogs etc. but I can’t make any comparisons. I did enjoy this cigar but it’s not in my top 5 cigars that come from Miami Cigar and Company. The creaminess at the end really brought this cigar home and I do recommend picking up a fiver at the very least.

Blind Cigar Review: Plasencia | Alma del Fuego Candente

“I really enjoyed this cigar. There were plenty of transition to hold my attention with wood, floral, some nuts and quite a bit of milk chocolate. The interesting point to this cigar was the more I smoke it the lighter and creamier it got. I would definitely smoke this again. ” -Mickey T. (irratebass)

Quick Cigar Review: Kristoff | Shade Grown Robusto

When I think of Kristoff cigars I expect three things.  A closed foot, a pig tail cap and great construction on every cigar. This for sure fell right in line with my expectations. I have had this cigar years before when it was called the Brittania and enjoy this one as much as I remember from previous experiences. Perfect morning cigar with coffee to start the day. I am really enjoying the rebranding they are going through and aligning the brands to common themes throughout.

Blind Cigar Review: La Palina | Kiluna Natural Robusto

“The intensity of this cigar surprised the heck out of me; based on the sweet scents I picked up initially, I was shocked when the flavor and strength hit me in the face like a 2×4, and didn’t relent during the vast majority of the smoke. I like strong, and even though I generally prefer cigars that have a bit more depth, this was very enjoyable. Vitamin N is strong with this one, so make sure to keep as sweet beverage on hand if you’re sensitive to nicotine. I’d highly recommend this cigar to people who enjoy strong smokes, and strong drinks.” -Nate H. (SineQuaNon)

Blind Cigar Review: Cohiba | Connecticut Robusto

“It seems that lately many of the cigars I have had are good to great through the first two thirds but as I approach the end the flavors become bitter and almost unpalatable. This one did start with a nice coffee flavor with hints of black licorice and cinnamon. There was even a nice after taste like a cinnamon dolce coffee that grew sweet over time. However, as I approached the end the flavors left and I was left with bitter flavors. Like the end of the pot of coffee. I would like this one in my humidor.” -Eric (smalls29)

“I really dug this cigar even though it’s not something that’s in my normal flavor profile. While the flavors were consistent throughout they were fairly satisfying. I really enjoyed the saltiness begging me to have something close at hand to drink. The burn was excellent. The ash fell through each third. This cigar was just a solid performer from start to finish.” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)
