“Give me another one of these! This was a solid stick with flavors that I rather enjoy. The middle third was probably the weak spot on this cigar where flavors kind of drowned in themselves and the marshmallow puff. I’m not going to say that portion of the cigar was bad, but it was not the highlight. Fortunately, there’s plenty of other things going on in this cigar to make the downsides forgettable. ” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

“I might say this cigar wasn’t exactly in my wheelhouse when it comes to the flavor profile, but I also found it enjoyable. This was a solid cigar and it put on a good performance for my tastebuds. I could easily enjoy this one again.” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

“An extremely earthy and smoky cigar. If you are a fan a sticks with strong mineral and hickory style flavors this should be added to your list to try. While it’s not exactly my preferred profile I definitely appreciated the layers of mineral, smoke, and hints of spice.” -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)

“If you are in to earthy, spicy cigars, that perform well and don’t disappoint, then this is a cigar for you. It developed from medium to the high end of medium full throughout that smoking experience on an almost linear level. No abrupt changes in strength or body, and no re-lights or touchups needed. While it did end up a little bitter and spicy at the end, novice smokers should feel no fear with this cigar, as long as it is paired with something to offset the strength at the end, like a nice aged rum. Stout beer would overrun it, as would cask strength scotch or barrel proof bourbon. All in all a great experience that I look forward to trying again!” -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)

“I loved all the warm spices, coco with a slight spiciness in the back of the throat that made me think this would be a great cigar to pair with English Breakfast tea on a cool crisp night. ” -Allison T. (The Yoga Ash)

The Encore Majestic is the penultimate cigar smoking experience for me. Good looking, well constructed with a very good draw and burn, this smoking experience left me wanting nothing more than what I had. Easy to smoke, enjoyable to my palette and relaxing yet interesting, the Majestic maintained it’s great construction without need for touch-ups while producing a nice amount of bluish white smoke. The flavors were there right from the start with great progression and a weaving type quality that kept me very interested. It hits all my sweet spots of earthiness, chocolate and coffee, citrus and even a bit of nuttiness mixed in from time to time. I don’t buy a lot of boxes of cigars because I really do like variety but I dare say this is one cigar that will have a permanent place on my list of box worthy cigars.

“Part of the joy of a blind review is finding out later what it is I was smoking. Well, I am very excited to find out on this one because I may be buying a box. The flavor and aroma combination was fantastic and interesting. The burn was incredible. The smoke output was HUGE. If it is a cigar in my price range, I will be stocking up.” –Matthew T. “I found the first third to be average in spite of a nice start of simple tobacco and oak. While the middle was very good, the finish quickly turned south. My mouth tasted like an ashtray before it was all over. With two thirds of this cigar not making the cut, I won’t be looking to try another.” -Gregg (McGreggor57)
