“Out the gate, I was greeted with an abundance of black pepper and oaky notes. After the first few puffs, they calmed down a bit. But they were still very much present. “The first portion of the cigar is sharply peppery and full of significant leather flavor. Through-the-nose smoke is peppery yet still enjoyable, which I like. On the finish, I get an oaky wood note that reminds me of a charred campfire.” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

At 1.5 inches in, the ash is a whitish gray, and stacked like dimes. Construction and burn are solid. The draw fills the mouth easily with delicious smoke. The retrohale has gone cosmically good with toffee, nougat, and fluffy baking spice. My bald spot has a sweat glaze over it from the strength, that I hope doesn't ice over, causing a polar cap in the Garage Lounge.
