Espinosa Announces Two 10th Anniversary Cigars – Cigar News

Espinosa Premium Cigars is bringing two anniversary cigars to PCA next week. The cigars are the “La Zona 10 Year Anniversary” and “Espinosa 10 Years Anniversary.”

The La Zona 10 Year Anniversary celebrates the La Zona factory, where Espinosa Cigars started
rolling in 2012 when it was founded by Erik Espinosa. The cigar is, of course, rolled at the La Zona Factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. It comes in one size, a 6 x 52 toro and comes in 30 count boxes. The blend uses a Brazilian Escuro Alto wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and fillers. Only 300 boxes were produced. Each cigar has a retail price of $13.00 with the box going for $390. The company expects these to ship in August.

Everything about this cigar is a tribute, from the cigar blend to the box design and the band. They are all throwbacks to when we first started out.

The second anniversary cigar is the Espinosa 10 Years Anniversary. This one celebrates 10 years for the Espinosa Brand. This cigar also comes in in the same single size, a 6 x 52 Toro. This one comes in 20-count boxes. The blend for The Espinosa 10 Years is a Nicaraguan puro that uses a Hybrid habano wrapper, and Nicaraguan binder and fillers.

Only 1,500 of the Espinosa 10 Years Anniversary cigars boxes were made. The Espinosa 10 Years Anniversary will sell for $13.00 MSRP or $260 MSRP for the 20-count display box. This will also start shipping in August. The cigar was blended by Espinosa Premium Cigars and rolled at AJ Fernandez’s San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua.

“Erik isn’t big about his industry milestones, but me and Erik Jr. are, so we wanted to make yet another special cigar, to
celebrate the company’s 10th year in the industry.

Hector Alfonso

It is hard to believe that it has already been 10 years! We have come such a long way from where we first started; in a little 800
square foot warehouse, without a single cigar to sell, but here we are. I am very proud of what my team and I have been able to accomplish.

Erik Espinosa

The Espinosa Cigars and the La Zona Factory were established weeks apart, and we have had a working relationship from the very beginning, one that goes well beyond just our partnership. Both the company and the factory have succeeded jointly and individually. We believe it is only fair that both of us can celebrate this milestone together.
