Blind Cigar Review: Montecristo | Espada Oscuro Guard

“I was leery about the first third, hoping it may have some complexity of this blend, however i was delightfully surprised bu the last two thirds. A menagerie of roasted and tasty charred flavors intermingling with sweet caramel and chocolate flavors made this end up being two thumbs up for me! Paired with flawless appearance, construction and burn made it all the better. Top notch med-full bodied smoke!” -John A. (Bostoneo)

Blind Cigar Review: Nestor Miranda | Special Selection Gran Toro

“This cigar was fun to smoke. Though it may not be my favorite size, I prefer a 42-48RG, I never once felt uncomfortable smoking it. It was ever changing and kept my interest throughout. This would make a great cigar that could be enjoyed as you were day drinking. Would pair well with any type of spirit and most wines due to it flavor profile. It is a little bit of a time commitment due to it’s size but well worth it. I will have to grab a few for my next beer fest or social gathering where I know I will have the time to enjoy it. ” -Estevan Z. (TheRealBanzi)

Blind Cigar Review: My Father | La Gran Oferta Lancero

“I really enjoyed this cigar. There was quite a bit of flavors going on with milk chocolate, wood, coffee, cream, spice and some marshmallow at the very end. The cigar stayed medium until the very final third where the spice kicked it up a notch. ” -Mickey T. (irratebass)

Blind Cigar Review: Ohana | Friends & Family Corona Gorda

“This was a wonderful experience. The flavors were nice and constant and never strayed in to bitterness and yuck. The cedar flavor was there from begging to end. The best part was the slightly sweet taste left on the palate. The aroma was that of a cedar log burning in the fireplace that made this one even more enjoyable. Definitely one for the humidor. ” -Eric (smalls29)

Blind Cigar Review: My Father | La Opulencia Corona

“As ugly as this cigar was, it goes to show that you can’t judge a book by the cover. The flavors were so good. There was complexity, and yet consistent notes that pulled everything together. I would gladly reach for this cigar again. ” -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)

Blind Cigar Review: Cornelius & Anthony | Meridian Robusto

“Dinner was done and the air was finally starting to cool when I went out to give this cigar a try. I was blown away initially by the huge flavors this cigar produced and I couldn’t have been luckier to have waited until early evening to smoke the cigar. It is quite intense, and I’m sure a lot of people would call it harsh. I couldn’t imagine smoking this earlier in the day.” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

Blind Cigar Review: Southern Draw | Firethorn Toro

“With a lot of cigars I find the cedar to be a bit heavy handed, not so with this one. The transition from a mature cedar to slightly charred then to a young sweeter one was very nice. The addition of hay, grass and leather paired well with the background flavors of nuts, coffee and cocoa. This cigar certainly offered me a very pleasant smoking experience.” -Gregg (McGreggor57)

Blind Cigar Review: A.J. Fernandez | Last Call

“Overall, this is a very good cigar that will only benefit with a little more humidor time, say 3-6 months. I think this cigar might incorporate an Ecuadorian wrapper, due to the flavor profile (grass) however with its rosado shade it has me second guessing myself. I would easily recommend this cigar to a cigar newbie (on a full stomach) or a seasoned cigar enthusiast. This is a smoke I hope to get the chance to reach for again and again.” -Matt C. (Big Matt)

Quick Cigar Review: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust | Sobremesa Corona Grande

This cigar seemed to come with a lot of hype. Wow, did it deliver. From the subtle changes back and forth in the flavor profile to the smooth draw, this cigar just exceeded expectations in every aspect. I smoked the corona vitola and my only concern was that it did not last longer. Get these if you can. I know I will.
