The Camacho Liberty Series has been a favorite of many Camacho fans for 16 years. In 2018, Camacho will take us back to the beginning with the Camacho Liberty 2005 Throwback. As with the previous Liberty releases from Camacho, this cigar will also coincide with Independence Day to honor the Birth of The United States.
The blend for the Camacho Liberty 2005 Throwback will also be made in the original 11/18 Figurado vitola. It will be wrapped in a Honduran Maduro leaf, with the binder and filler leaves of top priming Original Corojo tobacco.
J. Scott Kolesaire, Director of Marketing for Davidoff of Geneva USA said, “The building of each Liberty cigar begins over a year before the tobacco makes its way to the rolling table, the cigars are then constructed and left to rest for a minimum of 6 months, scheduled to emerge just in time to celebrate the 4th of July holiday. This year’s release, a throwback of the Liberty 2005 blend, lets us proudly celebrate America’s independence with a cigar perfectly crafted for such an honor.”
Like the original, the packaging for the Liberty 2005 Throwback is a box containing 20 individual coffin clad cigars, alternating red and white. That box is then emblazoned with a beautifully framed American flag.
