Drew Estate announced a new size in their Tabak Especial lineup today, a Lonsdale. This new vitola comes to both regular production blends Dulce and Negra. The new size will be shown off in an upcoming Freestyle Live: Special Edition hosted on facebook.com/drewestatecigar on June 11th from 7:00-9:00pm EST.
The Lonsdale size is not an extremely popular one in the United States, but has a strong following along with the lancero among enthusiasts. The Tabak EspecialDulceLonsdale measure 6 ¾” x 44 vitola and uses the same blend as the rest of the line including an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Sumatran binder, and Nicaraguan fillers. The stronger maduro version Tabak Especial Negra Lonsdale switches the wrapper in for a Maduro wrapper. Both new sizes come in boxes of 10 and sell for $85.10. They ship in July.
