Cigar News: Sinistro Adds Toro to Habana Vieja

Sinistro Cigars is adding a Toro size to their Habana Vieja line. The new size measures 6 x 54 and will ship at the end of March. This is a regular prodcution size.

We had a lot of retailers and consumers ask for a robusto or toro in this brand. Although we chose the Toro, we may still do a robusto in the future.

The new toro joins the following existing sizes in the line:

  • Corona (6 x 42) — $7.80 (Boxes of 20, $156)
  • Lancero (7 x 40) $8.40 (Boxes of 20, $168)
  • Fat Robusto (4 x 58) $9 (Boxes of 20, $180)
  • Ambassador (5 1/2 x 38/60) $12 (Boxes of 20, $240)
  • Scala LE (5 1/2 x 38/60) $16 (Boxes of 20, $320)
  • Salomon (6 1/2 x 50/60) $19 (Boxes of 12, $228)

All come in 20-count boxes and the toro box will retail for $196. Like the rest of the line, the tor size is rolled at The La Aurora S.A. Factory in the Dominican Republic. The blend uses an 8 year aged Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, 10-year aged HVA (Habano Vuelta Arriba) binder, and Nicaraguan, Dominican, ligero filler.
