Cigars International CIGARfest Cancelled – Cigar News

Cigars International has announced the cancelation of CIGARfest 2021. The cancellation come due to COVID-19 and the emergence of the delta variant. Cigars International will refund all event tickets in full by the end of August.

CIGARfest 2021 was scheduled to be held on Friday, October 15 and Saturday, October 16, 2021 in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains.

We found ourselves once again faced with a difficult decision relative to CIGARfest. Given that the CDC recommends wearing masks indoors in high transmission areas, which is impractical for a cigar event, we unfortunately saw no other option than to cancel CIGARfest this year.”

Sarah Santos, president of Cigars International

Ticketholders for CIGARfest 2021 will receive refunds through Eventbrite, the ticketing platform used for the event. CI Nation customers who purchased CIGARfest tickets with cash will be contacted by Cigars International’s customer service team to process their refunds. Go to www.CigarFest.com/Cfest for more information.

CIGARfest originally started as a small customer appreciation event in 2003 and has over the past 17 years grown into one of the largest consumer cigar event in the country. Each year, 6,000 of Cigars International’s biggest enthusiasts descend upon Split Rock, PA, for a weekend of great cigars, food and drink. Over the years, CIGARfest has helped CI raise tens of thousands of dollars to benefit charitable organizations including Cigars for Warriors, a nationally-recognized charity that supplies cigars and other items to actively-deployed military personnel and veterans, and LifePath, an organization that serves individuals and families impacted by behavioral health, intellectual or developmental challenges in the state of Pennsylvania.
