The features as brand new wrapper to the line, Corojo ’99 . The rest of the blend uses a Nicaraguan binder and filler.

This is the second consecutive year that we’ve introduced a new wrapper to the marca. The corojo wrapper results in a flavor profile that, in my opinion, is reminiscent of the signature ‘My Father’ style of delivering classic Nicaraguan structure and intensity, while retaining complexity and balance.

The line began in 2014 as a tribute to those who have passed on in the previous year, and is intended to be a celebration of life and remembrance, as opposed to a mournful symbol of death or loss.
