Jas Sum Kral has announced a pair of new cigars that will be available at their annual event, Ristefari. Last year during the annual Ristefari cigar event at The Golden Leaf in Hobart, Indiana, Jas Sum Kral released a barber pole toro of the Jas Sum Kral Tyrannical Buc. At Ristefari 2022, a 5×50 Robusto will be released as a limited run of only 500 cigars that were rolled two years ago. Ristefari 2022 takes place on March 12.
The blend for Tyrannical Buc uses Connecticut Broadleaf and Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrappers, Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and Pennsylvania. The cigars are made at Tabacalera Aragon in Esteli, Nicaragua.
The next new and limited edition cigar that will be released during Ristefari is the Jas Sum Kral Toothpick 2.0 Connecticut. The JSK Toothpick 2.0 is a Cuban sandwich cigar from the Nicaraguan cigar brand and is available in Habano and Maduro. In the past, Jas Sum Kral has released a barber pole version as a limited edition. This new Connecticut version is limited to 50 boxes of 50 cigars.
The blend is the same as the Habano and Maduro version except for the wrapper, which is an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper. The Indonesian binder and Nicaraguan fillers stay unchanged. Just as the other Toothpick 2.0 blends, the Connecticut version comes in just one size, a 5 x 50 robusto. These are also produced at Tabacalera Aragon in Esteli, Nicaragua.
