2020 Marks the five year anniversary of Black Label Trading Company’s Bishops Blend. Instead of assigning a year to the release like other years, this is labeled as the 5 year anniversary. It is also coming in a new limited edition vitola to the line, lancero. The company says they are still making the other sizes, but they have been postponed. Today, Black Label Trading Company announced the sixth annual release of its MORPHINE line. Morphone is rolled at James Brown’s Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua. It uses a Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan Habano binder, and Nicaraguan fillers. It is available in 3 vitolas: Corona Gorda Box Press – 5.5 x 46 (18 count) MSRP $10.50, Lancero – 7 x 38 (12 count) MSRP $11.50, Short Robusto – 4.5 x 50 (20 count) MSRP $10.50.

Cigar News: Emilio Cigars Brings Back AF1 and AF2

After a few years hiatus, Emilio Cigars is bringing back reblended AF1 and AF2, now made at James Brown’s Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua. This is the first cigar to be produced since the Emilio Cigars and Black Label Trading Company merged back in January. The blends and packaging was done by James Brown owner of BLTC and Fabrica Oveja Negra. Both new cigars will ship this month.
