Initial Impressions
Appearance: 92
“Brown sugar, rosy red wrapper makes for a beautiful looking cigar. The veins and color variations are beautiful.” –Bradlee Wilson (Brad W.)
Aroma: 90
“Strong barnyard aroma at the foot. Clean barn floor smell down the length .” –Randy B. (randobush)
First Third
Flavor: 93
Strength: Medium
Body/Complexity: Medium
“Cream, white pepper and a charred peanut flavor all hit the palate in layers. What’s most impressive is the charred flavor adds a different texture to the cigars smoke mouth feel. ” –Bradlee Wilson (Brad W.)
“Super pleasant draw, revealing salty graham cracker, butter, savory baking spices, coffee, molasses, and a touch of cayenne on the medium-long finish. The burn is slightly janky, but no issues with it.” –Randy B. (randobush)
Second Third
Flavor: 94
Strength: Medium
Body/Complexity: Medium-Full
“More raisins and cinnamon, but there is a potpourri flavor that keeps tickling my tongue every now and then. On the retro I pick up cream mixed with white pepper and some baking spices that really compliment each other. The cigar strength is still the mild medium as before. ” –Mickey T. (irratebass)
“There’s a noted uptick in intensity in the second third. Proving to be rather complex, there’s a deeper, creamy element to the smoke that’s developed alongside a pleasant but not overpowering spice.
A retrohale brings a buttery sweet and creamy profile forth as hints of vanilla and cedar become more apparent. As time wears on a pleasant, salty aftertaste.” –Fred L. (Fred L.)
Final Third
Flavor: 95
Strength: Medium-Strong
Body/Complexity: Medium-Full
“The final third of this cigar brought out the black pepper and walnuts. There was still cream on the retro. These flavors did not make the strength ramp up surprisingly. ” –Mickey T. (irratebass)
“What’s been awesome with this cigar is its consistency. The flavors are solid, the pepper is utilized appropriately and the ability to have the “zing” linger makes me like this blend even more than I thought I would. The creamy pepper flavors somehow work well together. Buttery smooth each puff. Overall flavors are unchanged but immaculately executed. ” –Bradlee Wilson (Brad W.)
Overall Impressions
Draw: 93
“Overall, the draw was quite splendid. On occasion, it took 3 to 4 puffs to get the desired smoke intake, but this was no issue.” –Randy B. (randobush)
Burn: 93
“In the first third, the burn was a little wonky, but required no maintenance to correct itself. Into the second and final third the burn was even.” –Randy B. (randobush)
Construction: 94
“Of all things, 1512 hits for me in construction. The cigar is DENSE with a heavy hand fill. No underpacked tobacco in the cigar. At a toro size this truly means you’re getting the best amount of smoke for the money. ” –Bradlee Wilson (Brad W.)
Overall Strength: Medium-Strong
Overall Body/Complexity: Medium-Full
Experience Overall: 94
“Overall this was a great cigar that offered plenty of flavors of cinnamon, raisins, both black & white pepper, nuts, coffee, and bread notes. The cigar performed flawlessly throughout the duration of the smoke. Would happily buy a fiver at least. ” –Mickey T. (irratebass)
“This cigar was not short on flavor. The different notes all had wonderful harmony and transitioned nicely. The construction was solid, had good hand field, and was simply a pleasant smoke all around. I would recommend it.” –Randy B. (randobush)
“Overall this cigar is a 5/5 in my book. The weight of the cigar, the construction and utilization of pepper-cream-wood was on point. ” –Bradlee Wilson (Brad W.)
“Surprisingly complex and creamy, this cigar was a medium-bodied journey that far exceeded expectations.” –Fred L. (Fred L.)
