ACE Prime and Crowned Heads announced a line extension to the Pichardo brand today, Pichardo Maduro. This follows last year's Pichardo Reserva Familiar and Pichardo Clasico.
This new blend uses a Brazillian Arapiraca wrapper with binder and fillers from Nicaragua. It comes in one size, a 6 1/2 x 50 box pressed toro.
Don. Eradio Pichardo is fourth-generation tobacconist whose family has been in tobacco for over a century. Before establishing himself in Nicaragua in 2005, Don. Pichardo worked for Habanos S.A. (Cuba) for many years and was responsible for Partagas blends such as Series E, and D. Pichardo is the co-founding partner of Tabacalera Pichardo along with Luciano Meirelles.
