Crowned Heads has announced the return of the Le Carême Belicosos Finos. Le Carême Belicosos Finos LE 2022 makes the fourth release of the limited edition cigar in the last five years. The shape was originally inspired by the iconic Cuban Bolivar Belicosos Finos. It measures 5 1/2″ x 52 and is a round cigar unlike the regular production Le Carême line which is trunk-pressed.
Since we launched the Le Carême brand six years ago, it has consistently remained one of the top performers in our portfolio. That said, there really is something special in how the blend translates in the belicoso fino vitola and I think that is evident in the popularity and demand for this limited edition release. We managed to survive the recent Broadleaf (Connecticut) crunch, and this year we’ve been able to increase production of the Belicosos Finos Limited Edition to account for the increased demand.

The blend is the same as the regular production Le Carême and uses a Grade A Dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. Production is limited to 3,500 boxes of 12, meaning a total production of 42,000 cigars for the global market. The suggested retail price for Le Carême Belicosos Finos LE 2022 is $11.95 per cigar. It is rolled at Tabacalera La Alianza, S.A., Santiago, Dominican Republic, under the supervision of Ernesto PerezCarrillo.
