United Cigars Re-blends Natural and Maduro Lines for TPE 2023 – Cigar News

flagship lines, Natural and Maduro, were originally launched in 2010. When they first came out, they were box pressed. Now they lines have been re-blended and will be offered in new parejo (round) vitolas. Prior to this relaunch, the blends had gone through some minor alterations, but this is a total re-blend.

The cigars are rolled at the factory in Gurabo, . The new blends will still be available in the shelf-friendly 20 count boxes retailers have come know, including a piece of an American flag inserted into each box in honor veterans.

I wanted to see how our United line smoked before going into the box presses. The traditional round format experience was great, so I spent the past 18 months fine tuning the blend to enhance the flavor and have a more balanced cigar.

The blends are made with Dominican Broadleaf and tobaccos from the Quisqueya region of the . Both blends are described as a medium-bodied profile. The Natural version uses an Ecuadorian while the Maduro uses a Maduro: Mexican San Andres. The rest of the blends are shared, including a Dominican binder, and Dominican Broadleaf, Quisqueya, Dominican Seco, Dominican Olor fillers. Both also share the same sizes and prices: 5 x 54 $8.00, 6 x 54 $8.50, 7 x 54 Churchill $9.00. The size measurements are unchanged from before the re-blending.
