Casa Cuevas Cigars has announced that their cigars are now available in the United Kingdom. Distribution comes via New World of Cigars ltd., a popular online company specializing in boutique cigars and can be found at www.NewWorldofCigars.com.
Last year, Casa Cuevas released a limited edition cigar, “La Mandarria,” which translates to "The Sledgehammer", in response to their warehouse being burglarized. The tool used by the burglars was a sledgehammer. Now, the company has announced this will be a regular production cigar.

Casa Cuevas Cigars has announced a Limited Edition cigar called La Mandarria which translates to "The Sledgehammer". Three months ago the Casa Cuevas warehouse was broken into and nearly all their inventory was stolen. They got away with more than 25,000 cigars, including the planned Limited Edition Flacos which they were unable to release. The perpetrators used sledgehammers to break through the exterior wall, hence the name La Mandarria.

"All in all a very pleasant cigar to smoke. I loved that the flavor profile started off with a great combination, only to add more to the game as the cigar smoked. No drastic changes, just enough change to sense a difference on the palate and enhance the overall smoking experience. This is a very flavor forward cigar that has much more body than strength. I honestly feel that smokers of all levels will find some enjoyment here. This would be a great cigar for first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee or tea, or an after dinner cigar with a spiced rum or low proof bourbon. Casa Cuevas Cigars announced today the resignation of their National Sales Director Gabriel Alvarez, effective immediately. No other information was given except that all retail tobacconists and and business related communications should now be directed to Luis Cuevas.
The newest cigar from Casa Cuevas, La Mandarria, is now shipping. La Mandarria translates in Spanish to "the sledgehammer" and references the tool used by burglars that stole the entire Casa Cuevas inventory of cigars earlier this year. The cigar was shown off at IPCPR and only 500 boxes were rolled.
Casa Cuevas Cigars will be expanding the core lines in the form of the Clásico Prensado. The new extension releases stay true to the original Habano & Maduro blends while the new vitola brings the popular box pressed shape to the line-up. The 6 X 48 box pressed cigars will be available in 20-count boxes starting in August of 2018.
