"This was a very nice, mild to medium cigar from beginning to end. The creamy walnut flavors were enjoyable and the finish with white pepper was a nice way to wrap things up. I was particularly pleased with the draw and performance and based on the totality, I would recommend this to all of my friends for a mild medium cigar to start the day. I only wish I had a cup of coffee to pair with this." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
"Overall I really enjoyed this cigar there were a lot of wood flavors, but into the second and final third there was some nice citrus mixed with some salt flavors that really balanced it out and made the wood flavors seem to dilute. I would smoke this again and would like to pair it with some morning coffee." -Mickey T. (irratebass)
"This was a pleasure to smoke and was perfect to go with a cup of black coffee…until the nicotine slapped me in the face! Then a couple sips of a sugary drink fixed me right up! The smooth flavors were really nice, and the overall experience was one I’ll remember. I’m ready for another one right away!" -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
"I feel like this cigar may have been a little young or ran into some issues during its aging. The opening has a strong sour flavor, and the finish is dry and chalky. It gave me classic signs of a young stick. While smokable, and I didn't have to put it down, the only flavor I could get between those two issues was a nice classic light earthy flavor. I'd like to try this stick again with six months to a year of age on it to see if that was the issue." -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)
"I really enjoyed this cigar. The vitola was perfect for me and the flavors were quite nice. I enjoyed the baking notes mixed with the wood and the butter and cream made this a smooth cigar for me. I didn't miss having any pepper or hot spices mixed in. This is a cigar I could smoke any time of the day and thoroughly relax without having to keep an eye on the burn while enjoying the subtle complexity of the flavors." -Diana (ArmyRN)
Saga is a brand from Corporación Cigar Export, which is run by the Reyes family. The naming of this line is very simple as the end result was from the 7th blend that they tried, so they applied the name to the cigar. The cigar has a Brazilian Cubra wrapper, Dominican binder and Central American and Dominican filler.
