Alec Bradley Cigar Co. is bringing back their Limited Edition Black Market Esteli Diamond cigar for a second release. The original released was announced in March of 2020, but didn’t make its way to market until October. This second iteration will be released in June of this year, and only 1,500 boxes of 16 cigars will be sold.
“The 2020 Black Market Esteli Diamond cigars were an immediate success. Covid19 disruptions changed the game for us in 2020, but consumer demand for the limited edition cigars and the ability to slot production in 2021 happily allows us to target a June release. We are elated that we are able to provide this treat to our partners and advocates!”
Alec Bradley Director of Sales & Marketing, Jonathan Lipson.
Because of its unique diamond shape, the Black Market Esteli Diamond needs extra care in the manufacturing process. The blend starts with the regular Black Market Esteli blend but with an added Ligero Habano filler leaf from Nicaragua. The proprietary diamond shape pays homage to the Alec Bradley Trilogy, a triangular shaped cigar created by founder, Alan Rubin.
The cigar itself measures 6 1/4 x 54 and is described as medium to full bodied. The blend uses a dark natural wrapper from Nicaragua, a double binder of Honduran and Nicaraguan leaves, and fillers from Nicaragua. Black Market EstelÍ Diamonds are presented in 16 count diamond shaped boxes and will sell in the US for $10.15 per cigar. Alec Bradley Black Market Esteli Diamond cigars are rolled at Plasencia Cigars Nicaragua.
