Like the original release, this is a Nicaraguan Puro. This line extension uses a Habano Rosado Oscuro wrapper instead of the Nicaraguan Habano. This wrapper was chosen by Rafael Nodal, Head of Product Capability for Tabacalera USA. Nodal, Grupo de Maestro Pedro Ventura and the Plasencia family created the blend.

The Oscuro ships in May and comes in three vitolas: Ricasso: 5 x 54 $13.27 MSRP, Guarde: 6 x 50 $13.80 MSRP, and the Quillon: 7 x 56 $14.60 MSRP.
