Crux Cigars has announced a new vitola for their Epicure line, a Lonsdale. This new size will launch with Privada Cigar Club and is exclusive for there for now. The Epicure Lonsdale has dimensions of 6.5×44.
This is not the first time Crux Cigars has used Privada Cigar Club to release a new vitola, they were the first to introduce the 6×54 Short Salomone in 2019. The 6.5×44 Lonsdale is a favorite size of PCC founder Brian Desind.
The Epicure line has been around since 2017 and uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and fillers. It is blended by Jeff Haugen of Crux Cigars and rolled by Plasencia at La Catedral de Tobacco in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Other Epicure Vitolas include: Corona Gorda 5.375 x 46 (MSRP $9.25), Robusto 5 x 50 (MSRP $10.00), Toro 6.25 x 52 (MSRP $11.50), Robusto Extra 5.75 x 54 (MSRP $10.75), Short Salmone 6 x 54 (MSRP $11.99), and Gordo 6 x 60 (MSRP $12.50).
