The company has been working on Siempre Rosado for almost two years. It began as an offshoot of the core brand Siempre Sun Grown and developed into its own line.
“To do this collaboration justice, we knew from the beginning that we'd have to create something bigger and bolder than ever before. We needed a full-bodied, flavorful experience that fires on all cylinders whether it's your first cigar of the evening or your fourth cigar while packing orders,” said Ian Reith, the founder and owner of Dapper Cigar Company.
Siempre Rosado Corona measure 5 5/8 x 46 and comes in boxes of 20. The blend uses an Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper, Nicaraguan binder from the Jalapa valley, and fillers from the U.S. and Nicaragua.
The cigar is rolled at NACSA under the supervision of Raul Disla. Disla worked with Dapper owner Ian Reith choosing tobaccos and primings outside the boundaries of anything that Dapper has on the market today. The blend ended up Dapper's strongest cigar to date and unanimously agreed upon after several rounds of blind tests.
“It's flattering to make a cigar for the guys that recognized and supported your brand from the beginning. And I took that to heart, wanting to honor them in return by creating a blend that's worthy of their exclusive catalog while inspiring each of our palates. In the end, I feel that this cigar is one of the best that I've ever blended personally,” said Reith.
Siempre Rosado Corona is available for pre-order now at SmallBatchCigar.com in limited quantities. Boxes will ship next month and additional vitolas (Churchill, Toro, and Robusto) will be released nationwide at the Tobacco Plus Expo (TPE) trade show in January (if it happens).
