MoyaRuiz Cigars has been around since 2013. During the last year, the company has been on a “reset” period. During this time they have streamlined their methodology and company. The company has shown off a new logo and moved its headquarters from New Jersey
to Florida.
Along with these new changes, they have announced a line extension of the La Jugada Habano, a 6 x 52 Semi-Pressed Toro. The blend is the same as the original which features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and binders and fillers from Nicaragua. Normally they age cigars 6 months before selling, but because of COVID, this release has an entire year of age on it. This new size is rolled like all other MoyaRuiz at Erik Espinosa’s La Zona in Estelí, Nicaragua.
The company has also announced a re-release of the 2015 Chinese Finger Trap. Dubbed Chinese Finger Trap #2, these limited edition boxes will sold exclusively through Caravan Cigar Company in Bath, Pa. This cigar will be available in December.
