MoyaRuiz Cigars and Smoke Inn have collaborated to create the 13th installment in the Microblend series: Hand Gripper. With a unique presentation, the two cigars actually connect together with a spring to resemble a real pair of hand grippers, a workout tool used to exercise the hand muscles.
The vitola of the cigars is a 5 x 52 robusto. The blend uses an Ecuadorian Habano oscuro wrapper with a binder and fillers from Nicaragua. Only 300 boxes will be made and production is handled by Erik Espinosa’s La Zona in Esteli, Nicaragua. Each box contains 6 pairs (12 cigars) and sells for $99. The cigar will be realesed at Smoke Inn’s annual event The Great Smoke which starts February 16th at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach, FL. Any remaining boses will be sold online at their retail stores and at smokeinn.com February 18th at 12:00 EST.
Danny Moya of Moya Ruiz Cigars, commented “For us the concept was simple, let’s create something that’s never been done before. We are the only company that has a utility patent to be able to connect two cigars together so we came up with The Hand Gripper. As a small company to be a part of Smoke Inn’s Microblend™ Series is a dream come true. We are honored to join some of the great cigar companies that are part of this series. We couldn’t be more thankful to Abe and the entire Smoke Inn team for supporting us since day one.”
