This week, Gurkha Cigars started shipping the Nicaragua Series to retailers. The Gurkha Nicaragua Series made it’s debut at IPCPR 2019 and sees only the shelves of Gurkha‘s top retailers. Gurkha placed a maximum of 5 boxes per size, per retailer on the launch.
Gurkha describes the Nicaragua Series as a Nicaraguan Puro, medium to ¾ full smoke, and makes it’s was to the rest of retailers next year.
Gurkha Nicaragua Series launches in four vitolas, all 20 count boxes:
• Robusto (5×52) – $9.75/cigar (MSRP)
• Toro (6×54) – $9.95/cigar (MSRP)
• Magnum (6×60) – $10.95/cigar (MSRP)
• Belicoso (6 1/8 x 52) – $10.95/cigar (MSRP)
Arganosa Leaf blended and rolled the cigars for Gurkha Cigars. The blend uses all Aganorsa tobacco including an Aganorsa corojo 99 Clara wrapper from Nicaragua, Corojo 99 Aganorsa double binder, and Corojo 99 and Criollo 98 Aganorsa filler tobacco.
