Cigar News: La Gloria Cubana Launches ‘Medio Tiempo’

The Forged Cigar Company is launching a new line under the La Gloria Cubana brand, called “Medio Tiempo.” This new cigar will come in three sizes and ship on May 4. Medio Tiempo will be a regular production cigar. Medio tiempo is the highest priming of a tobacco plant and is known for being very strong.

The artisans of El Credito set out to highlight a rare tobacco leaf with ‘Medio Tiempo’ and ultimately delivered another fine example of their masterful blending techniques. All of the tobaccos that comprise this new collection are interwoven to perfection, and together, they tell a memorable story.

“Medio Tiempo” uses an Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper, with the rest of the blend using Nicaraguan and cominican fillers, including medio tiempo from sungrown Connecticut Havano.

La Gloria Cubana Medio Tiempo is rolled at the El Credito Cigar Factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic. All comes in boxes of 25 cigars and in three different sizes: Robusto (5” x 54) $6.99 per cigar, Toro (6.125” x 50) $7.49 per cigar, Churchill (7.25” x 54) $7.79 per cigar.
