Drew Estate and Cigar Dojo announced the new limited edition Undercrown Dojo Dogma Maduro on the Nov. 18 broadcast of Cigar Dojo’s “Smoke Night Live.” The new cigar celebrates Cigar Dojo’s 10th Anniversary and is an offshoot of the very first Cigar Dojo collaboration, the Dojo Dogma that came out in 2014. Drew Estate will ship the limited Undercrown Dojo Dogma Maduro in December.
“Ten years ago, the Cigar Dojo was born … A unique platform where cigar smokers all over the world can enjoy a fine smoke together. To celebrate this monumental occasion, we have once again partnered with Drew Estate and created a very special cigar that represents who we are, what we stand for, and why we love this culture. Like Cigar Dojo itself, Undercrown Dojo Dogma is a cigar created by cigar lovers for cigar lovers.”
Eric Guttormson, Cigar Dojo’s owner and Master Sensei on Dojoverse.com
The 10th Anniversary Undercrown Dojo Dogma Maduro is described as a medium to full-bodied and comes in just one size, a box-pressed Belicoso (6 x 46). Like the original Dojo Dogma, the blend is based on the Undercrown Corona Viva blend, and uses a Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper, zesty Connecticut stalk-cut and stalk-cured Habano binder, and a filler blend of Nicaraguan Habano and Brazilian Mata Fina leaves. Only 2,500 boxes of the 10-count 2022 Undercrown Dojo Dogma Maduro were produced and each box has both the Drew Estate and Cigar Dojo emblems.
Our Undercrown brand celebrated a ‘Decade of Dedication’ in 2021, and now Cigar Dojo is achieving that milestone as well. I raise my glass to them and say, ‘Saludos y Felicitaciones!!!’ This is one of the most gorgeous products we’ve released to date in the Undercrown brand, it’s nothing short of spectacular in every way.
The 10th Anniversary Undercrown Dojo Dogma Maduro has an MSRP of $11.70 per cigar or $117.08 for a box. They will first be sold at a launch event at Smoke Inn Cigars in Boynton Beach, Fla., starting at 6 p.m. on Dec. 9. Then, on Dec. 12 it will ship exclusively to participating Drew Diplomat Program members.
