E.P. Carrillo is adding a new size to their Encore line, El Futuro, a 5 x 50 robusto. Each cigar will carry an MSRP of $11.90 and comes in boxes of 10.
We wanted to do a size similar to Pledge Prequel, which is the highest-rated Cigar of the Year with a 98 rating. The goal was to have the same taste profile of another Cigar of the Year, the Encore Majestic, in the smaller Pledge Prequel size.

The Encore El Futuro will be limited at first with American retailers receiving 1,000 boxes this week. The company plans on opening regular production orders of El Futuro at PCA 2022 to all retailers in attendance of the trade show. The only blend information given about the Encore is that it uses all Nicaraguan tobaccos.
Encore El Futuro is about generations that are just now learning more about the business. My brother and I are part of the 4th generation in the industry and hope that our younger family members, those that the other Encore sizes are named after, will aspire to continue this family business for generations to follow. El Futuro represents the future of not only E.P. Carrillo, but also those that will share in our journey.
