, LLC officially formed over a year ago now. Last fall they brought back the Timeless Collection from the archives and successfully launched their flagship limited edition cigars Generoso and Elegancia, the former of which made #9 on our Top 25 cigars list and scored a 91 in blind tasting. Now the company is bringing back the legacy brand. The new cigars will start shipping this week.

is an important part of our portfolio. It is made up of blends that embody the most traditional expressions of their origins. Many of these blends were created more than twenty-five years ago and have been painstakingly maintained year after year. We are very proud to continue that work.

The is a collection of five blends, made in three countries. The Metropolitan and are manufactured in the , in a mellow blend of Dominican fillers and binder tobaccos and available in either a Shade or a Broadleaf wrapper. The Metropolitan is a Nicaraguan puro (100% Nicaraguan tobaccos), made in , with a medium, creamy body. The Metropolitan Host and Host hail from Honduras with a smooth, sweet flavor. The is offered in boxes of 18 cigars (except the Banker in boxes of ten), and ranges in price between $7 and $11 per cigar before applicable taxes.

In addition to their flagship brand, the company also owns the Metropolitan, Timeless, and Epoca brands of premium cigars as well as the Ancora accessories brand all formerly owned and distributed by International, LLC.

is the Herklots family motto, found on the family’s coat of arms. While there are many interpretations and translations for this phrase, “” loosely translates to “Strike and Defend.”
