German Engineered Cigars Announces RAUMZEIT – Cigar News

German Engineered Cigars has announced their second regular production blend, RAUMZEIT. It was blended in collaboration with Claudio Sgroi, formerly of Mombacho Cigars. This follows their first regular production cigar NN01 that scored a 94 in our blind testing.

The word “Raumzeit” translates in German to “spacetime.” In a description from a press release the company says the cigar “…takes you into a new dimension – a fantastic immersion in aromatic complexity and engineered perfection makes space and time become irrelevant.

RAUMZEIT marks the first cigar from German Engineered Cigars made in Nicaragua. It is rolled at Tabacalera Tambor in Esteli. It is described as mild to medium body and “Traveling at the speed of light, far beyond the next galaxy, while a friendly android serves cake.“

The blend starts with a Nicaraguan Connecticut wrapper, Indonesian Sumatra binder, and fillers including Jalapa, Nicaragua and Piloto from Dominican Republic. RAUMZEIT comes in three sizes: Half Corona 44×3.5″ MSRP US$ 6.50,
Robusto 54×5″ MSRP US$ 11,l and Gran Toro 58×6″ MSRP US$ 12. All come packed in bundles of 20 cigars, and the Robusto and Gran Toro will also come in boxes of 20.

RAUMZEIT will be shown off at their booth at TPE 2022, January 26 – 28, in Las Vegas, NV. RAUMZEIT will ship shortly after.
