JR Cigar Teams up with Alec & Bradley for Wagyu A5 – Cigar News

JR continues their 50th Anniversary Celebration with a collaboration from Alec & Bradley, the Alec & Bradley Wagyu A5. Alec and Bradley Rubin are the namesake behind the Alec Bradley brand, chosen by founder Alan Rubin. Alec and Bradley started their own company Alec & Bradley a few years ago.

We wanted to create a cigar that evoked the characteristics of Wagyu beef: luxury, flavor and rarity and that’s exactly what you get.

Bradley Rubin

The Alec & Bradley Wagyu A5 is a limited edition blended in tandem by the Rubin brothers. The name comes from the Japanese Wagyu beef that has become famous for its flavor, visual appearance and high price tag.

We also wanted to create a rich and meaty blend that would pair well with Wagyu beef and create a similar flavor profile. I think we nailed it.

The cigar itself is rolled in Honduras the Raices Cubanas factory.
